I'm only 10 drinks in But I forgot to spike my punch (Not again) Better bet on the winner Or I can't afford my lunch Were you talkin' ‘bout romance? Thought you were talkin' ‘bout me Never seen a better dancer Can she move to the key? (I can move to the beat You can't even move your feet!) Just watch me: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7-- wait-- You're my favorite melodrama And my most hated comedy I ought to thank my mama For teaching me how to breathe (Thank you very much, mama) You better make like a tree Before you turn into a brussels sprout I know what all of this means And you don't wanna find out! Not everything needs a reason (Not everything needs a reason) Not everything's made of gold It's just part of the season I just hope it's not too cold Sometimes it's just ‘bout the feeling Sometimes it's just ‘bout the flow So let's go Let's flow Let's feel that disco It was nothin' but net, But I was aiming for the stratosphere Music always sounds better, When you can't remember how to hear Do they keep you up at night? Those sleepless days in the rain You may call yourself a fighter Will you box on champagne? I can serve up the pain, You can barely serve chow mein! Just watch me: 1, 2, 3, 4 I declare a-- wait-- You're crying over spilled milk When it spoiled in ‘84 We've all been sleeping in silk, But now we're off to the war (Drop & give me 54) You never know what to do, Until you're handed the lemonade The stand is closing down soon, And you forgot to get paid Not everything needs a reason Not everything's made of gold It's just part of the season I just hope it's not too cold Sometimes it's just ‘bout the feeling Sometimes it's just ‘bout the flow So let's go Let's flow Let's feel that disco Ugh. Man, my throat hurts.

about

"No Rhyme or Reason" is back as a wacky, wet, & wild EP that promises subzero rhyme or reason. The original song is a fan-favorite off the album "Discoholics Anonymous" & this EP adds two new ways to vibe to the senseless fun in the form of remixes by CrystalForce and Doktor Plekter. CrystalForce channels the classic sound of the greats of UK Garage with meticulously chopped up samples that transform the song to push lyrics to the back & let it send its message with the unique and exciting instrumental itself. Doktor Plekter brings a bouncy Prog-Disco sound that adds in more playfulness & dances around the original to provide a new tone and a whole new way to party with no rhyme & no reason. The cover art by the artist MEAT brings it all together with the Discoholic as a vintage psychiatrist holding up 2 Disco-inspired inkblot tests set against a vibrant background made of lyrics in Wingdings. You can try to make sense of it, but not everything needs a reason.
